Single Vehicle Accident on Center Drive

At approximately 2:00PM today there was a single car accident involving a minivan and a tree. The accident occurred on southbound Center Drive near Bronson Avenue. DuPont fire and police were on the scene rendering aid to an occupant of the minivan, who was out of the vehicle and sitting on the grass near the road. The airbag on the vehicle involved appeared to be deployed as a result of its head on strike of a tree.

An ambulance arrived as these photos were taken. It appeared that an occupant of the minivan was going to be transported to hospital.
