Community Appeal
ByI received this email from the folks at the Hometown Clipper providing the information to those who would like to help the McIntyre family. I will republish the information here to show our support.
Thank you to the Hometown Clipper for their timely coverage and quick response for aid. They work very hard to make DuPont connect as a community with news and information.
Hello Fellow Community Members,
I just met with Roy McIntyre. Both of his ankles are sprained (from the rush of exiting his burning home yesterday). He said his immediate needs are clothing. His family is holding up. Either a donation to the account set up at Venture Bank or gift cards to places like Target, Walmart..etc. would be greatly appreciated. He meets with his insurance agent on Monday. The house will be boarded up on Tuesday. Please send this information to members of the community in your circle who are inquiring as to how to help. Gift cards can be sent or dropped off to the Hometown Clipper, or donations made directly to the Venture Bank account. Info on hometownclipper.com. I will make sure all donations are acknowledged and passed along immediately to the McIntyres. We’ll also get the word out on a fundraiser or community event to show support for the McIntyers.
Thank you and have a nice day!

I hope you can put the word out on the cause of the fire, there are a lot of people wanting to know what started it, and are others in Quadrant homes at risk.
Go to the community meeting tonight at Chloe Clark, it starts at 7PM. Though, I do not think they know yet what happened, you can always ask.
